From the 12th of June until the 12th of July 2020, we get to enjoy the 60th iteration of one of our favorite soccer events which people follow, cheer for and bet on with bet365 bonus code. With it being half a year away and held all across Europe for the first time, it is natural for soccer fans to wonder what they need in order to be fully prepared for this event.
Venues
The UEFA European Football Championships were traditionally held in a single city, but this changed for 2020. Now, there are going to be 12 host cities all across the continent. Group A will have matches in Rome, Italy, and Baku, Azerbaijan. Group B involves Saint Petersburg, Russia, and Copenhagen, Denmark. Group C will play in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Bucharest, Romania. London, England, and Glasgow, Scotland are the venues for Group D. Group E belongs to Bilbao, Spain, and Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Finally, Group F has matches in Munich, Germany, and Budapest, Hungary.
Getting Around
There a few options fans can take regarding transportation from one city to another. The quickest and the most expensive way to get around would be to go on a plane. Going by train is relatively efficient and comfortable, which is why many opt for this mode of transport. On the other hand, if you have no problem taking turns with people from your group, you are welcome to try and drive, but we would not recommend it.
Additionally, make sure you have your visa ready for some of the countries involved. Azerbaijan and the UK are particularly difficult to enter, so check ahead of time whether you need and/or qualify for the visa of each country involved. Don’t forget to check the local time.
Prices
Prices for the event, naturally, become progressively more expensive as time goes by. The pricing method is still not very clear, but the organizers are trying to account for the different parts of Europe having different levels of income. If you are eager to acquire a ticket, make sure you follow the UEFA website for updates. Fans that support their country are in for a treat, for example, as the tickets for them will be available in December. It is important to note that there are still four teams that are yet to join the fray, as the playoffs are scheduled for March 2020.
Words of Advice
Be civil. We can all get excited when our team is playing and that’s good up to a point. There is also no need to taunt fans that support other teams. Plan your trip carefully, bearing in mind the time difference, the delays at the borders, and potential traffic jams. Don’t bring any contraband to the games and have fun.
